Bad Ass Romance (SWI), The Möles (SWI)
Presented by Rockfact Music Club & IRON-T21
Rockfact Music Club, Münchenstein,  Switzerland – 26.05.2018
After a rock night was a complete success last year, this time there was a high-profile reprint. With Bad Ass Romance returned a band, which caused a big sensation last year during their first concert in the canton of Baselland with a very strong appearance. Such calibers know how to celebrate a rock’n’roll party and take care of unforgettable moments. The local band The Möles performed as support act. The gates opened on 8 PM and the club slowly filled with spectators.
The Möles entered the stage after an intro. The trio from Laufen met the audience’s nerves with hard rock. Singer Marc Schmidlin with bare upper body grew into his role as mainman and did a great job. Andreas Metzger on bass was played, who as mainman leaves a better impression on the audience. It’s hard to say, because both are good musicians and convince with stage presence like drummer Dan Probst. The front row was ready to explode. The young spectators created a atmosphere with moshing and sung every song. That’s how a show has to be. Actually their appearance would’ve ended with „No Way Out“. But loud encore shouts prevent the band to leave the stage. The obligate encore followed with „Shortcut“. Marc Schmidlin, Andreas Metzger and Dan Probst bowed down with much applause from the audience. That was awesome! They opened their set with „Wang Dang Sweet Poontang“. You could see Fernando von Arb’s joy of playing. His smiling face spoke volumes. He gave the audience an audio-visual treat of a crazy rock’n’roll show with passion and a portion of fun. His bandmate Dan Grossenbacher had guitar duels with him. Every riff sat precisely and every groove part seamless fits into the overall picture. Rock’n’roll was flawlessly performed here. They hit the bullseye by a well-directed  selection of hits like „Rock Outlaw“, „Man Enough“, „Wildside“, „We Rock“ or „It’s Only Rock’n’Roll (Do You Like It)“ and the audience freaked out. „Moshing“ occured the spectators stage dived and crowd surfing. It was more than a concert, but a never ending rock’n’roll party. The spectators received the encores „Bad Case“, „Tush“, „Long Live Rock’N’Roll“ as reward for the good atmosphere at the concert. Unfortunately the appearance of Bad Ass Romance ended but they were able to beat their appearance from last year with this excellent performance. A lot of people will remember that night. Keep it up.
