 Re:Loaded (SWI)
sunbea.ch-club, Münchenstein,  Switzerland – 06.09.2024
Re:Loaded could thrill me with their appearances in the past. The group  brings a lot of energy into their live show and every member lives the  moment with much heart and passion. Furthermore their mix of rock and  metal is catchy and inspires me. That’s why it was clear to me seeing them  live again  and I saw the advertisement of their concert at the venue  sunbea.ch also known as „Dörfli“ in Münchenstein. I went there to start the  weekend loudly. The members were in front of the club after my arrival and  used the moment for a conversation. Reunion is a joy. The doors opened at 7  pm and you could enter. Two hours later, the band stood on stage and  opened the evening with „Eye Of The Storm“. Lead guitarrist Dumbo shined  with guitar solos and seemed laid-back and cool. Rhythm guitarrist Marco
and bassist Pasci had their fun and guitar duels from time to time. Moreover, they showed funny poses and defied the  tight space. Singer A.C. put heart and soul into his vocals and integrated dirty kick ass rock’n’roll parts which stood out  beside clean parts. I liked his interaction with the present spectators. He asked to clap along in „Something“ and it  became a success. Pasci and Marco supported him with occasional vocal performances and added more harmony to the  song. The song title „Break Out“ was shouted along. A.C. went down to the audience and a breakdown got played and  people were jumping around. The first video was shot to this track. A 15 minutes break occured after „Lies“. This was  used to get some fresh air and make up for the loss of fluids. Then Marco's guitar broke down briefly during this song  due to technical problems. Thereupon, the complete band returned on stage and played the Pointer Sister’s cover „I’m So  Excited“ which I and the fans really liked because of its heaviness. It kicks ass too. Marco’s riffs could be heard flawlessly  again. That was great and was followed by “This is us”, a song about the human condition. The eagerly awaited hit  „Wasted Cowboys“ came after “Decisions” and the social criticism “Get A Life” about dissatisfied people who constantly  attack others. The chorus was sung along vigorously and there was a small mosh pit. “Mirror” was followed by criticism  of society in terms of lifestyle condemnations etc. Actually, “Lovesong” should have been the last song to end the  performance. However, the audience disagreed and demanded more songs with calls for an encore. These calls were  heard and the encore “Speed” was played before A.C. left the stage for a brief moment and their biggest fan Michi  climbed up. He was allowed to perform the Böhse Onkelz song “Auf Gute Freunde” with the other members and shortly  before the end, A.C. joined him and sang the last verse together. Michi put so much enthusiasm you thought Böhse  Onkelz singer Kevin Russell was there for a moment. Hats off, that was a challenge Michi passed with distinction.  Then  Michi left the stage and Re:Loaded said goodbye to the satisfied audience. They received a lot of applause for their  good performance. Setlist Re:Loaded Eye Of The Storm Something Power Gimme More Breakout Lies I’m So Excited – The Pointer Sisters This Is Us Decisions Get A Life Wasted Cowboys Mirror Lovesong Speed Auf Gute Freunde – Böhse Onkelz Afterwards you could linger in the bar and listen to rocking sounds and chat with the band members and spectators. Many thanks to the sunbea.ch club team Stevie Brügger and Michael Ruefer for organizing this event. Another thanks to engineer Tobias Schäublin for the good, powerful mix. It was a great evening and I’ll almost certainly visit the sunbea.ch-Club in Münchenstein again. Livereport by Dominic Latscha
